The Kyocera KX16 candid is the latest in the Kyocera Company's line of cell phones. This phone offers an attractive design, it stylish and comfortable. Its clamshell design offers easy gripping hold and easy storage. The KX16 candid is an excellent phone for those long phone conversations. It has nicely rounded and tapered corners and edges, that won't cut or harm the skin. It is also lightweight, taking the stress off of your arm. The design means that it folds down into a small size, perfect for storage in most purses, pockets or cases. It is also simple to retrieve this phone in case of a quick unexpected call.

The phone offers some nice physical characteristic. It has a 2.5mm headset jack located on one side of the phone. There are also, side keys to help guide you through the many menu options you will have when using the KX16 candid. The phone is very lightweight, weighing in at a mere 111 grams, and it has a small stub antenna that will help with reception.

The power offered by the phone is quite adequate. It comes with a lithium Ion battery already installed. It offers about 3.5 hours of continuous talk time as well as over 7 days of standby time. This is slightly less than other phones but most users say it is sufficient.

A very nice added feature to this phone is the second display on the front. Many users, cute that clamshell phones without second displays do present some problems. They must be opened to access the caller Id features. This is both inconvenient and can be unsafe in a crowded area. The second display is located conveniently on the front. The phone has a camera, a polyphonic ringer and a phonebook with 200 name capacity. There is also an alarm, a calculator and a calendar.

Those with hearing difficulty will appreciate the TTY/TDD technology. This enables all of the information to be read digitally. Even those with profound hearing loss will be able to benefit from cell phone technology. Those who travel extensively will also benefit from the GPS satellite navigation technology. If you travel a lot for work purposes, this will allow you to pin point where you need to go and receive step by step instructions on how to get there.

For those that enjoy the world of texting the phone has a predictive text entry feature. This enables more than one letter to be stored on each key of the phone's keypad. However, the phone recognizes the English letter combinations, so you won't have to worry about sending words with incorrect letters. This helps keep the keyboard small and actually makes texting easier.

Some of the more fun features on the phone are a nice selection of games, ringer ID, voice dialing and multiple numbers per name. Some of the more serious features are, wireless Internet service, multi media messaging and data/fax capability.`

This phone does offer a lot for what is paid. Many of the users of the phone cite many positive aspects. Among some of the favorite points raised by users, is the camera. It has been said that the camera is fun, easy to use and takes reasonably good shots. The front display is also a favorite among users.
